Project information

The public space of the northeastern part of Úzká Street and the intersection of Dominikánská Street creates a "square". The proposal consists in opening up the given space and in rythming the free area with two rows of trees. The existing enclosure wall will be demolished for the most part. The lower parts of the wall are used as bases for benches. The rhythm of the trees (catalpa ovata - Catalpa ovata) is also emphasized by the paving. Squares made of strips of white and black pavement mosaic are inserted between the grid of gray granite paving. The inner squares around the tree trunk will be covered with river boulders. The longitudinal axis of the square is highlighted by the placement of public lighting lamps. The demarcation of the traffic and rest area is defined around the perimeter by benches, metal bollards and trash cans.
